Frontier Preserve

80 acres along 2 creeks that converge on the preserve. Surrounded by forest, wildlife and wildflowers — preserved by a donor's decision.

One donor's decision keeps these 80 acres whole: river frontage, wildflower meadows, standing forest, and a network of quiet trails.

FPLT stewards the preserve under a land management agreement — the second tool in our kit, alongside easements — monitoring conditions, maintaining trails, and keeping the land what it is.

Not every protected acre needs a building or a program. Some just need looking after, and a way in.
